Five types of Navratri in 2017

 

1. Vasanta Navaratri (Chaitra Navratri: March 28, 2017 to April 5, 2017)

 

Vasantra navratri is also known as Bansanta Navratra, raama Navratra and Chaitra Navratra, is occasion of nine days. These Navaratri comes on spring season (March - April).

 

These Navratri dedicates to the nine forms of Maa Shakti. Its starts on ( Tuesday ) 28 march 2017 and will end on ( Tuesday ) 05 April 2017.

2. Varahi navratri (June 24, 2017 to July 2, 2017)

 

Varahi navratri is also known as Ashad Gupt Navaratri. Ashad Gupt Navaratri is occasion of nine days. These navratri days is dedicated to nine forms of Maa varahi devi.

 

Maa varahi Devi sing of wealth, prosperity, health, power, energy and good welling. These festival came in Shukla Paksha of ashad mouth (july). Its starts on (Saturday) 24 June 2017 and will end on (Sunday) 02 July 2017.

 

3. Sharad Navaratri (September 21, 2017 to September 29, 2017)

 

Sharad navaratri also known as Maha navratri, is occasion of nine days. These navratri days is dedicated to nine forms of Maa Shakti Devi. Maa Shakti Devi sing of power. These festival came in sharad mouth (September - October). Its starts on 21 September (Wednesday) 2017 and will end on 29 September (Friday) 2017.

4. Pausha Navaratri (January 17, 2017 to January 24, 2017)

 

Pausha navratri is occasion of nine days. These navratri days is dedicated to nine forms of Maa Shakti Devi. This festival comes in paush mouth (December - January).

 

5. Magha Gupt Navaratri (January 28, 2017 to February 5, 2017)

 

Magha gupt navratri is occasion of nine days. These navratri days is dedicated to nine forms of Maa Shakti Devi. These festival came in Megha mouth (January - February).
