Gowardhan Puja is usually celebrated on the fourth day of Diwali. It is also known as Annakut which means a heap of grain. This puja is done to celebrate the victory of Lord Krishna over Lord Indira.

In 2017, the Gowardhan puja would be celebrated on 20th October 2017. The Pratahkal Muhurat of the puja begins at 6:30 in the evening and ends at 8:40. The Sayankal Muhurat of the puja will begin at 15:30 PM and end at 17:40 PM.
