What is Amavasya?

In the Hindus calendar, an Amavasya is new moon (Chandra) day. If you have faced many problems related to kaal sharp dosha in your life, you must observed the fast on this day.

 

The Amavasya fast reduces some effects of Kaal sharp Dosha. It bring happiness, joy and peace of mind in your life. It also reduces effect of malefic planet in your Kundali.

 

On Amavasya Tithi also perform the tantric poojas. On this day are appropriate to perform Shraddha rituals to appease forefathers.
