How Shiva Puja is celebrated on Maha Shivratri?
Devotees get up early in the morning and take bath before the sun rising. And then

fruits, juices and dairy products. During fast, single meal is allowed if you are
Ganga River at Maha Shivratri which means it will help to purify the soul
and body both. And after taking holy bath, it's expected to devotee to take Sankalp
which means you have to determine about whole day fast and avoiding jealousy.
In the evening, devotees have to take second bath before Darshan of Lord Shiva.
