A number of Bhakti Programmes are organized in the temples. Devotees organized Bhandara and distribute Prasad among the people and the needy. Distributing Prasad is considered very auspicious on this day. People wear new clothes on this day. It’s celebrated after nine days of Navratri.
And the first day of Navratri falls on the first day of Hindi New Year. It means people who wish to kick off their new year in a unique manner and with taking the blessings of the Lord Rama always prefer to go along with Ramnavami Puja.
